Q: Where am I going?

Q: What do I get with an all inclusive resort? 

A: Food at the resort's 7 restaurants and multiple snack bars as well as all drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic across the resort are included with the nightly rate. You will also have access to entertainment, a fitness room, and many planned events with the dynamic Ziva Team (shout out to Mario Lopez and Paola!). Special order bottles of wine, tequila, and mezcal within those restaurants are at an extra cost to the individuals. The restaurant will point this out upon request.

 

 

Q: I reserved my room, when will I get charged? 

A: 30 days before the wedding, the credit card on file will be charged the full amount for your stay  

 

 

Q: I've never been out of the USA before what will I need? 

A: photo ID and valid, non-expired US Passport 

 

 

Q: I don't speak Spanish, will I feel comfortable at the resort? 

A: Yes, all staff at the resort speak English and Spanish. We highly recommend downloading a free app like DuoLingo to begin learning some basics!

Q: What do I do once I get to the resort? 

A: Settle into your room and go explore the resort! There is an infinity pool in the center of the resort that overlooks the Sea of Cortez, an adults only pool featuring the Baja Bar with delectable tacos, a kids/family section including a waterpark, KidZ club, and plenty of family programming, and even a transportive spa. We want you to relax and do whatever you want! Whether that means getting a group together to do bingo with Paola by the swim up bar or lounging in the lagoon by one of the floating fire pits with a drink in your hand and good tunes in your ears. There is truly an option for everyone to relax!

 

 

Q: So there's a Spa, is that also included with my stay? 

A: the spa not a part of the all inclusive package that the resort offers. However, all wedding guests get 10% off of all spa services. 



Q: How long can I stay? 


A: At minimum all guests must stay from 2/6-2/9, but you're more than welcome to stay longer (our rate applies from 2/3-2/12 - if you're interested in expanding beyond those dates, please contact Katie Stuhr ASAP).

 

 

Q: Can I stay somewhere else besides the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos?

 

A: Technically yes, but we would really prefer that you didn't. It will be very costly for us to allow multiple people to stay at properties outside of the Hyatt due to our wedding contract. It will incur a day pass fee, which we're willing to do in extraordinary circumstances. But please use this sparingly and with the understanding that this would not include a plus one. 

 

 

Q: Is the beach swimmable at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos?

 

A: It is not. Believe us that you would not want to try based on our crazy engagement photo shoot (you're allowed to dip your toes in, but we truly wouldn't recommend much beyond that)! That undertow is no joke. There are beaches not far away you could visit as an excursion that are swimmable, however. But the infinity pool truly makes it feel like you're in the water while experiencing the ocean, we promise! And - no sand is a plus, right!? (though it's nearby for those who want that experience)
