On 7/3/2016, I decided to go to a day party at Elleven45 with my girls Ebonie and Jenn.  The line to get in looked like a social security line on a Monday - like really long.  Oh, and it was definitely about 90 degrees.  Sweat was rolling down my face/back/legs and I was ready to go home and just watch Lifetime or something.  We decided to stay since we didnt have to go to work the next day (4th of July holiday).  When we entered, we headed straight to the bar area.  Within minutes, Caiseen and his crew approached the bar and we greeted them.  I noticed Caiseen right away, but realized he had a medical boot on his foot.  In my head I was like, "Why is this fool at a day party with a boot on his foot?".  Some time passed by and some how we started discussing fitness and he eventually asked me if I had a boyfriend.  I lied to him and said yes.  I didn't know that Ebonie was behind me mouthing, "she is lying, she does not have a boyfriend".  He saw that I was lying and realized he had to come up with something else.  He said, "Well, give me your number and I can help you with some workouts/workout tips". He also made it a point to show me some of his ab pictures on Instagram (trying to seal the deal).  That evening we had a long conversation and we have been glued to each other's hip ever since.  2.5 years later and we are heading to the altar.  God is AWESOME!  

FYI- He tore his achilles days before the party and that is why he had the boot on.  I nurtured him back to health like a good ole Southern belle lol.  I guess it worked! Also, the pictures we have posted in this section are from the first day we met.  I dont know what made us take pictures the first day, but I am glad we did. 

On 6/26/16, I tore my achilles. Randomly on 7/3, my friends called me up and invited me out to a day party. Now, just so you know, my friends never go to day parties. So, when they invited me out, I knew I could not miss this for the world! A lunar eclipse would most likely occur before they would go to another day party....LOL. To support my torn achilles, I had a medical boot on my right leg so I could not drive. It was also very difficult for me to walk and stand for long periods of time. My surgery was scheduled for the upcoming week and the last thing I needed to do was stand in line for an hour waiting to get inside a day party. It was 95+ degrees outside in Atlanta, but I did it for my friends. When we finally made it to the door, the cover charge was $30..SMH. Between the hour long wait in line, the heat, and the cover charge, I still cannot believe we all made it inside. Once inside, we immediately headed for the bar. And sitting at the bar there she was - this beautiful chocolate queen JAMYE!!!! Jamye immediately turned around and introduced herself to me. I was definitely impressed by her assertiveness. Through our conversation and in addition to her beauty, I was able see she had a great personality. When I asked for her phone number, she said she had a boyfriend but thank God, her friend Ebonie was behind her gestering (LOL) that she was lying, which was hilarious. So I needed to change up my approach. She mentioned that she was on a new diet plan (keto) and was getting pretty good results. BINGO!!! JACKPOT LOL. That was my way in!! I pulled out the phone and showed her some of my body building competition pics. I wanted her to know that I was seriously into fitness and weight loss. So she agreed to give me her number based on the grounds I would help her out fitness wise. Outside of God, who would have known  that on 7/3/16, our lives would change forever. It's definitely divine because I asked her to take the picture above with me that day. It's like we began creating memories the first day we met - as if we knew what was to come. But honestly, we had no clue.  God knew though! I am so thankful God chose us for each other! I'm super excited about our future together!!!! I love you babe!!
