I met Joe working at Bayridge Hospital. I would always see him around and thought "he's so cute like a teddy bear!" We did not have an interaction until months later when i was sitting in the cafe. I had just found out my car was hit in the parking lot and was so upset i started to cry. Up comes Joe with a big smile asking if i would like a drink. He says, "would you like some hot chocolate or coke" I looked up at him, confused on why on earth would someone think i want something to drink during a time like this. But he put a smile on my face, and for those few  second i had forgotton my car was hit. We had an instant connection and for some reason always felt right. We grew to become best friends and i can always count on him. Going through this journey has been nothing but the best and i can not wait to make many more memories with my best friend.

The first time i saw Darcell, she was standng by the window on BR2. I thought to myself, Wow! What an unattainable beauty. The next time we met, she was sitting in the cafe crying and i offered her a drink because her car just got hit in the parking lot. The next time i was approached by her friend, Darline, who said she was going to a boat party and asked me to join. I told her the only women that i would ever take with me would be Darcell. I had no idea Darcell was interested in me. Darline gave me the confidence to approach Darcell and ask her to be my date for the night. Shockingly Darcell said YES! And the rest was history.
