What does all-inclusive mean?

Those staying at the Hyatt Zilara will enjoy an all-inclusive experience, which includes accommodations with food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).  Room service is also included.  Please refer to their website for further details.

What travel documents do I need?

You will need a Canadian or US passport that is still valid at least 6 months after arrival into Mexico.  A travel visa is not required.

What is the currency used in Mexico?

Mexican peso is the currency there, but they also accept USD. If you do plan on booking excursions or shopping, many retail outlets take major credit cards as well. 

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Transportation is included in the travel package; please refer to the travel website. If not booking via our travel website, we recommend that you utilize a transportation company. We do not recommend taking a local taxi.

Do I need health insurance?

Yes! We highly recommend you get travel insurance for any unforeseeable circumstances. Please refer to travel website for more details. It is also important to have your vaccinations up to date. Please visit your travel clinic for details.

What should I wear?

March is a beautiful time in Mexico. We suggest you bring comfortable summer clothing appropriate for temperatures around 30 degrees. We are right next to the water so expect some light breeze. Some restaurants at the resort do have a smart casual dress code requirement.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors (unless non-permitting due to weather conditions). We recommend dressy beach wear. No flip-flops please. 

Can I go exploring on my own?

This is your vacation too! Aside from wedding festivities, please enjoy Mexico and do what your little heart please <3 There are many excursions to checkout (try not to get scammed). Please never travel alone! 

Can I bring my children?

Hyatt Zilara is an adult only all-inclusive resort. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate anyone under 18.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding?

We ask that the ceremony be unplugged. Other than that, please feel free to gram away!! Please use #PatgotconVinced
