My aunt has a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta. Can I stay there and at Hyatt Ziva?
You are more than welcome to stay anywhere you like. We’d also love to spend as much time with you as possible. A week at an all-inclusive resort is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you want to spend some nights elsewhere and some nights at Ziva, we recommend you stay Tuesday, February 20- Friday, February 23, 2024, at Hotel Ziva. This way you’ll be able to join us for a fun night of karaoke and our wedding celebration and be able to access a great rate through our room block (3-night minimum).
My aunt has a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta. Can I come to just your wedding celebration?
Absolutely, please let Char or Nick know ahead of time as we will need to pass this information on to the wedding coordinator and arrange guest passes.
Are kids welcome?
Kids are more than welcome! We love your kiddos and Ziva has a kids club and activities that Char wanted to do while we were there (pinata making, wiffle ball, shows, visits from Disney characters) and the hotel has all the sand toys you could possibly dream of, so you can leave yours at home.
We also understand that a couple's getaway and leaving your kiddos with grandma and grandpa may be more your speed, you do you!
What will the weather be like?
The average low in Puerto Vallarta in February is 61.°F. The amount of rain in February is extremely low with an average of 4mm (0.2in). It rains on average a total of 0 days. The average maximum daytime temperature lies around 80.°F
So, what to wear in February? Visitors traveling to Puerto Vallarta might want to wear dresses, tops, T-shirts and skirts made of cotton or linen. Shorts for men made of cotton or linen are good options for staying cool on a hot day. With a water temperature of around 75.2°F, this is a great month to swim so bring your swimwear.
Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?
Please get in touch with us if you need wheelchair accommodations and we can make arrangements. The ceremony and reception will both be held on the beach.
What should I wear to the wedding ceremony?
Wear something that you feel good in! Sundresses and sandals for the ladies and chinos or shorts and button-ups for the guys are what we envision. We want you to feel comfortable and to be able to get your groove on! Feel free to take inspiration from the lush tropical surroundings by popping on a fun print.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Plan A is on the beach, outside. Back up plan is in place, should we need to implement "operation undercover".
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We request you keep your phone stashed during our ceremony but let the photos rip during the reception.
