Desmond and Maya have known each other for quite a while (since age 15), but decided to begin their courtship in the Spring of 2014. Maya had came to Queens, NY to visit a friend and happened to be reunited with Desmond on March 27th, 2014. Love at first sight would be a bit of a myth as this was not there first time seeing each other, however their connection on this day was instant. Now, the rest is history! 

They would have never thought in a million years that life would bring them together, but they thank God that he seen fit for their love to evolve.
