Nyre and Brandy met 6 years ago at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, LA.  Even though timing wasn't right throughout the years, Nyre and Brandy continued to stay in touch from time to time, and remained friends.

A chance occurance in 2022 brought them back together in Sarasota, FL for a friendly evening of dinner and catching up as friends....but who would have thought that evening of laughter and fun would lead to such a special occassion.

On June 3rd, 2023, in Atlanta, GA at Centennial Olympic Park.  Nyre got down on one knee and asked Brandy the most important question of his life, and she said, "Yes".  We can’t wait to be surrounded by family and friends on one of the most special days of our lives. Thank you to everyone who will be attending and for supporting us this past year. Here’s to the adventures ahead!
