The love story of Madeline and Riley (aka Mikey and Rizzle) began at the one and only Denver Movement Climbing + Fitness (also referred to as Movement Dating + Fitness). It was love at first site when Madeline watched Riley push that vacuum around with such finesse, picking up every speck of loose chalk.  Soon Riley was finding every excuse to check on the air conditioning in the child care room just so he could talk to the new girl, Madeline.  Their friendship and love grew quickly in ever quirkier ways with their first kiss occurring after tandem riding a skateboard street-luge style down 44th Street in the Denver Highlands, and with their first big climbing trip that summer at 4th of Julander in Lander, Wyoming when Madeline and Riley spent more time dancing in American flag spandex and suspenders than they did climbing. 

Over the next 6 years, Madeline and Riley supported each other through many big wins with lots of laughs and smiles. Riley belayed Madeline on her first 5.13 and then Madeline repayed the favor by sitting on the couch while Riley sent his first 5.14, but she did make an instagram post about it so that made up for her not being there. Madeline and Riley have been together through graduate school, licensing exams, and career beginnings. They moved from Denver to New Mexico together and adopted a dog with terrible knees. 

Madeline and Riley have built their relationship on friendship, laughter, and adventure. Getting married in Mexico with their closest friends and family felt like the perfect way to celebrate their love and commit to the next chapter of life together.
