It all started in 2015 just outside of the Big House at the University of Michigan golf course. Kristin was invited by a friend to attend a tailgate party that Brad and friends were hosting at the course. There was some banter exchanged and they established their love for their dogs, Rambo and Bentley. Naturally, there were many drinks had by all before, during, and after the tailgate which continued into downtown Ann Arbor for the big game against Michigan State. Drinks continued.... and continued following the soul crushing loss that no Wolverine fan prefers to discuss again. That night, Kristin got a Facebook message from Brad checking in to see how bad he might have embarassed himself during the drinking marathon of tailgate. Kristin replied that she didn't "recall anything embarassing" but looking back that was probably because after 14 hours of drinking, nobody had much to recall. In any case, this became the start of a friendship that would later lead to a first and second date and as the saying goes, the rest was history.
