FAQs

Rooms: Your rooms will be booked and paid for by us ahead of time. Each family gets 1 room, either 1 king bed for couples or 2 queen beds for bigger families. If you want to add an additional room for your family, it will be up to you to book and pay for it. Your complimentary rooms will be for Friday night and Saturday night. If you wish to extend your stay, you can add up to 3 nights before and 3 nights after, on your dime. The extra nights will go for our discounted rate of $288 per night. The rooms will be stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, soap, lotion, etc. The bathroom towels are changed regularly throughout the day. The mini fridge will be filled with bottles of water, drinks, and snacks, all free and stocked daily.

Transportation: You will be responsible for transportation. This includes flights and shuttle to/from airport. You can book the shuttle ahead of time. We chose the Cancun Airport Shuttle, about a 20 minute drive and $40 each way. You can coordinate travels with other guests so you can share the shuttle fare. If you need help with this, feel free to reach out to us. We suggest to find an early flight on Friday and a late flight on Sunday to maximize your time with us.

Wedding Colors: Our colors will be blush pink, pale blue, and sage green. The theme of this website matches our color vibes perfectly.

Wedding Attire: classy casual – You can wear whatever colors you desire, but we ask you to stay away from black. We also ask you to avoid wearing jeans, short shorts, and hole-y (distressed) clothes. Choose your footwear while keeping in mind you’ll be walking in the sand and grass.

Ideas for women are sundresses, skirts, linen pants

Ideas for men are khaki shorts, button up, polo

Gift: We think the best gift of all will be your presence at our wedding. Transportation to the wedding is expensive enough so we are not expecting any additional gifts.

All-Inclusive: Food and drinks are All-Included! You can order any food and any drinks, anytime of the day, anything you want. This includes unlimited bottles of water. You will not need to exchange cash for pasos. The only cash you could need is for tips - it is not expected, but if you wanted to tip for dinner, nothing more than $5. Also included are unlimited clean towels for the pool/beach. You can get fresh, dry towels as often as you wish.

Exclusions: While most food and drinks are included, there are some exceptions: top shelf liquor, full bottles of liquor/wine, expensive food (lobster, steak, etc.), gelato, etc. Exceptions will be noted by staff, or have the $ amount on the menu, and charged to your room. The salon services are also extra. You will be responsible for any additional charges or upgrades added to your room. You will be able to pay these charges at Check-Out. While drinks are unlimited, the staff reserves the right to deny you drink service is you are too intoxicated.

Food: The resort has numerous restaurants that you may choose to dine at. These restaurants will serve food such as Mexican, Italian, Japanese (yes sushi), French, and Mediterranean. The bars surrounding the pool serve finger foods like pizzas, chicken fingers, fries, nachos, etc. Breakfast is buffet style with made-to-order omelets. You can also order room service. There is a sweet shop with desserts and a cafe with muffins, scones, snacks, coffees, and teas available throughout the day. You are free to choose when/where you eat your meals. There will be no organized group meals for guests since the restaurants are not equipped to served groups of 20+ people. The only group meal of all guests will be dinner on Saturday at the reception.

Activities: The only planned activities for the weekend is the ceremony and reception on Saturday evening. The resort has hourly activities for the guests to stay active and have fun. Our favorite activities from our previous trip were beach volleyball and water aerobics.
