Our story!

After a long day of traveling and the inconvenience of mishaps along the way, I was more than relieved that my friends and I made it to Dallas in one piece. I needed a stiff drink, and fast. Luckily, the sports pub that we stopped at was open late. I sat down at the bar table and ended up rubbing elbows with a handsome stranger across from me I later knew to be Kyle. He bought me a drink and to my surprise was a long time friend of one of the guy friends i was with, I asked him about his life and by the end of the night, we were pouring out our hearts about recent breakups. 

Later we realized that the friends i was with disappeared as we were lost in conversation. We were able to locate them and they invited kyle and i to an overnight after hours club 3 hours away. Kyle gladly came along for the adventure and asked me if I wanted to join him in his car on the long ride down. I spontaneously said yes, which turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. 

The night turned into an evening i'll never forget and later, a long distance relationship. Even though we had only known each other for a few weeks, I knew he was the one for me. Amazingly, Kyle felt the exact same way and we were engaged after almost 6 years together, a long distance relationship, the army, a move, a few years of growing, maturing, learning more about each other, a blended family, and doing things a little backwards. He proposed on Christmas, got down on one knee in front of the christmas tree and i'll never forget the reaction of our little growing family and the excitment christmas morning on all the kids face. I have never been more surprised!

We have been on several wild adventures together, but raising a family came first over the priorities of being able to travel. We wanted to make our wedding memorable with family and close friends and finally have the vacation and honeymoon of a life time and the wedding of our dreams! 

We can’t wait to be surrounded by family and friends on one of the most special days of our lives. Thank you to everyone who will be attending and for supporting us this past year. Here’s to the adventures ahead! #RowinAwayToCancun
