THE BEGINNING, BEGINNING:

In 2018, a mutual friend introduced us. We first met at Sayyid’s brothers restaurant. We both were feeling each other that night but our similar stories on who was feeling who more seems to lay in favor of the person telling it. Even though the vibe was right, nothing ever came of it.

THE BEGINNING:

In 2020 we reconnected as friends/associates if you will. We talked here and there but mainly about business.

THE PRESENT:

In 2021 we began to flirt through Instagram, heart eye emojis and sweet small talk, that led into a last minute dinner date. An elegant and cozy intimate dinner, along the chicago river, in a dimly lit greenhouse. We talked and laughed the entire time. We held hands, making every moment a little bit sweeter. All the cute details are too numerous to mention but as you can see, It went great!!!

Our love evolved and grew very naturally and effortlessly. Later in the year we got pregnant and chose to start a family. We followed our own order! Fast forward to my birthday in 2022 when we went to the Hyatt Ziva hotel in Punta Cana to celebrate and have a baby moon before the arrival of our son. Sayyid planned a romantic beach sunset dinner just for us and then proposed. I was mostly surprised, but that’s a story for another day! 

Today we have a beautiful family with the addition of our son Lorde Hakim. God has blessed us to have met and build a beautiful life together. We are so excited to be bringing all of our friends and family together to bless our union, at the same place where we got engaged!
