It all began with a swipe on Bumble, but the universe had quite the plan for us! Our first date was on December 30, 2021, but the journey to that date is one for the books.

Elif had her bags packed for Istanbul that week, but COVID had other plans. Then, she thought she might escape to Truckee, only for a snowstorm to shut down that idea. Finally, she decided to stay home, and the very next day, destiny struck—she matched with Ferrier!

Ferrier, on the other hand, was at the dentist on a Monday morning when he saw Elif’s profile. They started chatting and couldn't stop. By the next day, they were on the phone and instantly felt a connection. They set up a date for two days later, on Thursday night, just before New Year’s Eve.

Their first meeting was at Tuna Kahuna, Ferrier’s friend’s restaurant. They hit it off so well that Ferrier’s friends didn’t want to interrupt their conversation by serving the next courses! They had an amazing night and decided to meet again the very next day, which just happened to be New Year’s Eve. That weekend marked the beginning of their incredible journey together.

With the help of Leyla and Alara, Ferrier proposed to Elif in April 2023. Now, they are thrilled to celebrate their special day with all of you. Thank you so much for joining us on this joyous occasion!
