How we met

It was the Summer of 2020, in the beginning of the pandemic, Kerissa was studying for the bar exam and Kevin was hidden in his cave, worried about COVID-19. Both of them were busy living their everyday lives when they decided to sign up for Hinge, a popular dating app. Kevin messaged Kerissa and within three days they were on their first date at Yard house in Boca Raton. The conversation flowed freely and they continued to talk and go on dates. During this time, Kerissa would treat Kevin to homemade slices of her lemon cakes and rum cakes, which he loved.

On Valentines Day of 2021, Kevin drove over 40 miles to Kerissa's parents house with four dozen roses and asked her to be his girlfriend. Kerissa excitedly said yes. These two have been together ever since.

The Proposal

On December 23, 2022, Kevin got down on one knee and asked Kerissa to marry him in front of family and friends. Kerissa said yes and the rest is history!!
