We met each other over 8 years ago through one of my then coworker who turned out to be a close friend of his family. I was having a very stressful day at Steve Madden working a double shift from open to close. He walked in and asked me my name and saw that I was flustered from running around all day. He offered to take me to lunch but because I was the only one in the store, he went to the food court and got me chicken strips, waffle fries and a sweet tea from Chik-fi-la. And because I LOVE food.. I excepted.

We said our goodbyes with hopes of maybe seeing each other again. We did not have to wait long. During a night out with my girlfriends at what then was called Alley Cats, we meet again. I did everything possible to ensure he saw me by doing what I do best. DANCE! At the end of the night he pulled me to the side and asked.. "how am I going to get to touch with you" smooth as can be. We exchanged numbers and he walked my friends and I to my car. When we got to the parking deck we discovered that I had a flat tire.. go figure!!

There he was once again rescuing me from another stressful day! After a few months of buiding a great friendship, one southern bell found her Brooklyn boy!
