Why Hyatt Ziva in Cancun? It is a funny story how we got to know about Ziva and ended up falling in love with it!

Last year in July we decided to take a trip to Cancun. As we were researching the numerous all-inclusive hotels in Cancun, the two Hyatts caught our attention - Hyatt Ziva and Zilara. Both sister properties had outstanding reviews, so we couldn't really decide which one to choose. Hyatt Zilara was an adults only, and Hyatt Ziva was a family friendly hotel with a separate adults only tower. We kept reading and reading the reviews, and most of them suggested Zilara was a better place to stay in terms of food, drinks, entertainment and the fact that it was adults only. We booked the Hyatt Zilara and were very happy with our selection. We were sure we had made the right choice.

Upon arriving at Zilara we were told that one of their towers had an issue with the AC, so they offered relocating us to their sister property Ziva for one night. We actually got excited - we would get to experience Ziva too and get a chance to compare the two of them. We asked if they could give us a room at the Turquoise - the adults only tower, and they did.

The moment we got to Ziva we were blown away - a modern oceanfront suite with a hot tub on the balcony, a tequila bar and a tequilier that offered us premium tequila tastings, amazing margaritas, numerous restaurants and bars, multiple swimming pools, two beaches and a dolphin pool! We only spent one night at the hotel, but it was the most memorable night of the whole trip (or two days - we ended up staying there for the whole day the day after), and definitely the best hotel we had ever stayed at!

Thus, once we got engaged and started thinking about the Wedding venue, Hyatt Ziva quickly came to mind! It was definitely our dream wedding destination, and we are excited to share our experience with all of you!
