REGISTRY

How do you manage your registry, make changes to your account, etc.?
Log in and manage your account from your dashboard. From this section you can change your destination, add items to your list, delete items from your list, build your personal website, see your gift details, etc.
How do you add items to your registry list?
If you haven't added your registry items yet, you can do so by logging in and going to "Build Registry List" under the "Your Registry" tab. You just click on anything you would love to do on your honeymoon. The more personal and detailed you make it, the more involved your guests feel when they are picking out your gifts. Most activities are listed at the suggested price per person, but please check with your travel provider or travel agent for exact pricing if necessary.
How do I post a photo and special message on my registry?
Log in and go to your "Your Registry" then select "Create/Edit Special Message". Here you may enter the text of your special message and upload up to 3 photos that will rotate and display on the top of your registry list each time your list is accessed. *
How can you let everyone know where you are registered?
Use all the features that we provide from your dashboard to let people know about your registry:
  • Downloadable announcement cards to place in your invitations
  • Use our email wizard to send your registry link out to your entire guest list with ease
  • Use your online photo album to post photos of any event - follow up by emailing that link to your friends and family
  • Use your "Wedding Blog" to keep everyone up to date on the events surrounding your wedding and honeymoon
  • Use your "Wedding Webpage" to give the details of your story, wedding and reception
The great thing is all of these tools direct people back to your honeymoon registry!
Can I change my destination?
Yes up until you have gifts purchased on your registry, after that the system will lock your destination in place. This is so that funds can be transferred appropriately and so that accounting is not commingled by destination. However, one of our customer service representatives can change your destination for you through our administrative end.

GIFTS

How do you receive your gift monies?
1Receiving all the wonderful gifts friends and family purchase for you is simple. Please see "Notes to Couple" on each item when building your registry for any additional information.

Funds will be sent directly to you, gifts may be collected at any time, as many times as you'd like. You may:

Send funds directly to your US based bank account, with our free unlimited ACH bank to bank direct deposit. This is the most efficient and secure method.

OR

Have a check mailed to you via regular US postal service. (We are not responsible for lost mail and there is a fee for any checks that need a stop charge - a great reason to "Go Green" and use the bank to bank transfer service).

PHOTOS

How do I post a photo and special message on my registry?
Log in and go to your "Your Registry" then select "Create/Edit Special Message". Here you may enter the text of your special message and upload up to 3 photos that will rotate and display on the top of your registry list each time your list is accessed. *
Can I post a photo of my own for a registry item?
As a general matter, copyright infringement occurs when a copyrighted work is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner. Due to copyright infringement laws, we are not allowed to have users post photos next to their registry items, this is for your protection.

The legal penalties for copyright infringement are:
  1. Infringer pays the actual dollar amount of damages and profits.
  2. The law provides a range from $200 to $150,000 for each work infringed.
  3. Infringer pays for all attorney fees and court costs.
  4. The Court can issue an injunction to stop the infringing acts.
  5. The Court can impound the illegal works.
  6. The infringer can go to jail.
Due to copyright infringement laws, we are not allowed to have users post photos next to their registry items, this is for your protection. If we don't have an item you would like on the list, just go to "Create Your Own" tab which is available on most sites.* From there you can write a description and choose from over 400 photos that we have selected.
How do I post photos on my photo album?
Log in and go to "Wedding Center" and then to "photo album". Select the category you would like the photos to be in. Then select "edit" as the mode. Follow the steps listed it's easy! By clicking on browse you will be able to select a photo from your computer, sequence them and write captions if you'd like.
Why are the photos on my photo album not as clear when they print out?
The resolution of the image to print is lower than the resolution of the original image. This is done to reduce the amount of time it takes for your browser to load the photo album. Therefore, the print quality of these images will be lower than the print quality of the original image.

GENERAL

How do I delete my registry?
To delete your registry log in and go to the "your account" section, click the "Delete My Registry" button. You will be asked to confirm that you want your registry deleted.

After you delete your registry you will not be able to login to or otherwise access your registry. If you decide later that you would like to reactivate your registry you may contact our customer service department at leah@honeymoonwishes.com or call the toll free telephone number at the bottom of the web page.
What happens if my wedding or honeymoon is cancelled or postponed?
If your wedding or honeymoon is postponed, just log into your account and revise your wedding date. If your wedding is cancelled, we will be more than happy to reverse the charges from each of your guests' purchases at no cost to you. However, if the cash payments for your gifts have already been wired to your bank account or sent to your travel supplier, it is up to you to return any gifts to your friends and family.
